Spring Mini Sessions!!

Spring Mini Sessions are going to be held at Camp Holbrook in Alpharetta on friday May 27th and in Woodstock on saturday May 28th!

Here are the details:
$60 includes:
   *30 min session.
   *15-30 edited images in an online gallery for you to choose from.
   *10 digital images of your choice on a DVD.
   *additional digital images and prints may be purchased separately

I love newborns! And I love capturing those first few weeks of life. This little guy didn't want to cooperate but in the end did a fabulous job and we were able to get some beautiful images. There is nothing sweeter then a new baby.

I'm so behind on posting sessions so this is my attempt at catching up! Anyone who knows me knows how much I absolutely love the beach, so shooting on the beach is a special treat! And these two boys are as sweet as they come. Their mom and I were college roommates and I'm so glad that we've stayed in touch. They're a beautiful family and I had so much fun watching these two boys play in the sand and surf.

It's amazing how much a baby changes between their newborn and 3 month sessions! Last time I photographed Stella she was a sleepy little newborn and she let me position her however I pleased without ever waking up or making a noise. So much has changed! She is now a bright eyed, smiling, gorgeous girl! She grabs anything she can wrap her tiny fingers around and those little legs are always kicking. I had so much fun dressing her up as a ballerina and trying out some new flower headbands! She was a great sport through all the costume changes!

Florida Trip!

I'm so excited to announce that Rachel Melton Photography is heading to florida for a few days! Here are the details:

I will be offering "mini" sessions on three different days, each in a different location. This is a great opportunity to get some beautiful photographs for a great price! The session fee is $75 and that includes a 45-minute session AND your favorite 20 images on a DVD. This is a savings of $100! Additional digital images and prints are also available.

April 2nd: Lake Eola   Downtown Orlando, FL
April 3rd: New Smyrna Beach, FL

Aren't these two girls beautiful?! It was so much fun trying to capture their personalities. They both are sweet, fun, determined little girls. I just love them. In a few short months they will have a baby sister and I can't wait for the challenge of photographing all three of them together!

So I thought it only appropriate to start this blog with a "sneak peak" of my own little bundle of joy. It won't be long and he will be running and hiding from the camera like his older sister.  I will take advantage of the fact that he can't walk yet. Here is Grayson at two months. I was determined to capture one more round of "sleepy" poses. He hates hats and being swaddled so I really had the odds stacked against me but somehow he fell asleep and I was able to capture some sweet dreamy images.
